Love Our Community Day – Putting Faith Into Action
This Sunday, August 31, 2025, LEV Church in Marshfield, WI is doing something different. Instead of gathering for a traditional church service, we’re stepping out to serve our community through Love Our Community Day.
We believe church is more than a service you attend—it’s a life you live. James 1:22 reminds us to “be doers of the Word, and not hearers only.” That’s why this weekend, our church family will gather at LEV Church, then spread out across Marshfield for hands-on volunteer opportunities.
We’re partnering with two incredible local organizations:
House of the Dove – An inpatient hospice care facility that provides compassionate, individualized end-of-life services in a peaceful, supportive environment.
Hannah Center – A faith-based safe place for women and children in crisis, offering shelter, recovery, and the tools needed for a hope-filled future.
After serving in the morning, we’ll gather back at LEV Church for lunch at 12:30 PM, celebrating what God has done through our church family.
5th Sunday Giving – Partnering in the Process
This Sunday is also our 5th Sunday Giving Day. On every 5th Sunday, 100% of giving goes toward specific projects that expand our Kingdom impact.
So far in 2025, our church family has already given more than $70,000 through these special offerings.
Those funds have supported staffing positions that extend our ministry reach and expanded our missions giving to support global and local partners.
This month, we’re turning attention to our own “house.” Our parking lot is in urgent need of repair, and as a leadership team we are fully committed to making this happen. The cost for the first phase of repairs is $16,000.
We’re not waiting to see if it’s possible—we know it must be done. Instead, we are inviting our church body to partner with us in the process. Your generosity helps shoulder this burden together and allows us to keep moving forward as a church family, stewarding well the space God has entrusted to us.
