Key Passage: Philippians 1:19 – “For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.”

Recap from Sunday at LEV Church:

What do you do when you're worn out, pressed in, and running low? This past Sunday at LEV Church, guest speaker Mark Purkey brought a timely and Spirit-filled word from the prison epistles of Paul, reminding us that we don’t walk this life on our own strength—we walk in the supply of the Spirit.

Preaching from Philippians 1:19, Mark drew our attention to the profound reality that Paul—imprisoned, isolated, and falsely accused—still overflowed with gratitude and strength. Why? Because he was being upheld not only by the prayers of the saints, but by the supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit.

Mark reminded us that there’s a difference between the filling of the Spirit and the flowing of the Spirit. One is an initial experience—yes—but the other is a daily supply. When you’re filled with the Spirit, you are equipped not just to survive—but to thrive in trials, to overcome temptation, and to discern what others might miss.

This message included vivid, powerful stories—from personal healing from cancer, to Spirit-led moments of generosity, to the Spirit's red light saving him from international danger. The Holy Spirit, Mark emphasized, is not optional in the Christian life. He’s the Director, the CEO, and the Guide. And the good news? The ocean of God’s supply is still available—vast, deep, and overflowing.

Main Takeaways:

  • The Holy Spirit meets every situation with full provision.

  • A Spirit-filled life isn’t just about a one-time experience—it’s about daily reliance and refreshing.

  • Discernment, obedience, and peace come from walking with the Spirit, not ahead of Him.

  • Families are protected when parents are sensitive to the Spirit's promptings.

  • Generosity, protection, and power are all tied to Spirit-led living.

Power Quote from the Message:
“There’s no other power available to live victoriously in Christ but through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Reflect + Respond:

Are you walking with the Holy Spirit daily—or running ahead of Him? Are you filled, or are you in need of a fresh supply? This isn’t the hour to coast. It’s the hour to be filled, equipped, and empowered for whatever lies ahead.
